What is Direct Primary Care?

The direct primary care model of healthcare puts the emphasis back on the patient. We like to refer to it as “old-school medicine.” Members pay a monthly fee that covers all office visits. No insurance is accepted, however most HSA are accepted. Although health insurance is not accepted at Elite Health and wellness, we do recommend a small policy that covers accidents/ER visits. We do not believe waiting days or weeks for an appointment with your provider is appropriate, nor is waiting an hour to see your provider. Same day or next day appointments, and the ability to speak with your provider by phone, text, or email, and never waiting in a waiting room for your labs or office visit is just a few of the benefits of a direct primary care practice. We offer Labs, medications, and radiology at a fraction of the cost by using wholesale pricing. Urgent care needs, DOT physicals, yearly physicals, sports physicals, extended, relaxed longer visits if needed. I offer routine in office procedures if needed, and most of these are also included in your monthly fee.
